Albion Breaks was formed in 2019 with a view to playing our favourites of the best cover songs by British bands and artists. Like many newer bands the Covid 19 brought live gigs to an abrupt halt in March 2020, but the seed was sown and the initial gigs proved that the band could entertain. With restrictions being lifted, the band got back into it and have been winning over new audiences with a selection of great songs.

We all like different bands and this has been a great opportunity to play a selection of our favourite songs!

Music is a wonderful thing, whether listening to it or creating it.

Albion Breaks is a collection of seasoned musicians, who have a passion for what they do. The band consists of the following:

Glyn – The Front man and main singer – a great voice and a sense of mischief. I always wanted to be in a band, but didn’t have the patience to learn an instrument. Played in various bands before forming Albion Breaks with Rob.

Rob – Guitars (one at a time!) The six string maestro. Played in numerous bands over the years. Formed Albion Breaks to be able to play the music he really likes.

Charles – Various Basses (again one at a time!) also vocals, both lead and harmony (not at the same time!) Joined Albion Breaks as a Dep and stayed

Lawrence – The engine room – on the Drums

Emily – on Keyboards, Saxophones and vocals
